Front Office Version 7 Released

Biomni are pleased to announce the latest release of Front Office version 7.0. The mature Service Catalog and Request Management solution has been further enhanced to offer greater value that’s both intuitive to use and easy to configure. Key enhancements for v7.0  include:

Fulfillment Workflow

Front Office version 7.0 allows requests to be routed to a number of fulfillment channels, whether that be an existing process automation tool, your incumbent Service Desk, or the newly added internal workflow module (Enterprise only).

As with other areas of the product we’ve ensured an intuitive experience to configuration that allows anyone who understands the process to get on and define it without any additional technical knowledge. The workflow designer employs a drag-drop interface that quickly enables the visual piecing together of all the activities and decision points required in the fulfillment process. Support for both internal work queue activities along with a new In Box and external integrated activities, ensures the process can be orchestrated and automated across multiple parties and systems.

SLA Measurement and Notifications

With an eye on automation and reducing manual touch, it’s important that exceptions to the smooth operation of your request fulfillment processes are quickly identified and reported on. Front Office version 7.0 allows any number of SLAs to be defined per process along with notification alerts and warning flags that ensure the right people get to know of delays and impending SLA failures proactively. Standard reports (Enterprise only) provide analysis of SLA performance.

‘App Store’ Like Bundles

A new display option within the bundles area allows items to be displayed as icons and selected more easily onto a request. When setting up a new bundle simply ensure you have images configured against the items to take advantage of the new display mode.

Service Catalog Enhancements

The Service lifecycle management features of Front Office provide a structured version controlled content management framework for your Service Catalog Management activities. With version 7.0, gain greater control on how your services are defined with service types, custom groupings, review dates, ownership assignment and linked parent and child component services.

Sample Services and Request Forms

Front Office v7.0 now provides a selection of sample service and request content to apply on installation and offers more samples to download and import from our support site.
