Symantec Corp to resell Biomni’s Service Catalog and Request Management Suite 31 September 2008. Symantec Corp (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced an agreement to resell Biomni’s Service Catalog and Request Management Suite to provide ITIL V3 “front office” capabilities across its Endpoint Management solution.

The Biomni solution enables business users to request authorized combinations of goods and services offered by multiple sources of supply, not just the internal IT organization. It provides business users with an intuitive self-service, single point of contact interface to not only raise requests, but also retain end-to-end visibility of resulting authorization and fulfillment processes. Integration with the Altiris Total Management Suite enables a broader range of automation through real-time integration with the Altiris CMDB and Workflow Solution.
